Carolina
Charities is
a non profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to “giving to those
in need” based on available
surplus resources in the state of North Carolina and throughtout the United States. We are also committed
to helping other charitable organizations expand their
service and giving capabilities. Located in the “heart” of
North Carolina, we fulfill our mission through the
following objectives:
- identifying, collecting, and distributing
surplus supplies and equipment to the less
fortunate
- working in collaboration with other non profit
and charitable organizations
- expanding service and charitable opportunities
within the state
Carolina
Charities was founded in 2005 based on the premise
of helping more people by simply taking excess
supplies (primarily from North Carolina) and
using those supplies to help others in need of
those supplies throughout the world. With
experience in developing parts of the world coupled
with nonprofit successes in the United States,
Carolina Charities is evolving into an important
philanthropic player in North Carolina.
Carolina Charities
is a public, nonprofit, charitable organization. The
organization is approved by the Internal Revenue
Service as a 501(c)(3) corporation. All
contribution to Carolina Charities (Tax ID #
87-0742050) are deductible under section 170
of the Internal Revenue Code.
